You are your best part.
To create something big, you have to make space for it.
Only mediocrity is safe from ridicule.

Zest is the secret to all beauty. There is no beauty that is attractive without zest.
Tell the world what you intend to do, but first show it.
My life did not please me, so I created my life.

I am full of life and energy. I aim to wake up everyday feeling fabulous. I am super comfortable walking into a room. I embrace my beauty. I can locate what I want and I know how to go for it. I am at ease with food and my body.
BUT - it was not alway so....
After having many children, I have felt and been fat. I hated looking at pictures of myself. My body moved slower, with some aches. Food - I was in a constant, confusing struggle with it.
I always loved meeting new people - but I would compare myself constantly and berate myself for my shortcomings. I didn't feel beautiful. I only knew what I wanted through the lens of what everyone else wanted. Everyday I pulled it together. Yet, it got harder.
When I had my son Eli, a transformation in my life was ignited. Before, the pregnancy I felt depleted and afterwards it was worse. I couldn't recover the way I wanted: I exercised, ate a little bit, and was utterly frustrated.
Change had to happen. A random conversation with a man in New York City who had healed his mom from cancer through food changed my life. Afterwards, I examined what I knew and began to explore deeply other healing modalities.
What emerged was a lifestyle which transformed my body, healed various health issues, and left me looking and feeling 15 years younger. The secret: the body, mind, and spirit are one.
I ate to nourish me. I ate mindful of how what I was eating made me feel - not by rules. I changed how I exercised. I exercised to restore and strengthen my body, not punish it. I listened - no more overworking, injuries, or exhaustion. Exercise became fitness and a way release emotions and be in my body.
I did various exercises and practices to strip down what I wanted independent of those around me. I rediscovered my true self. Meditation got deeper. I developed unshakeable calm and peace and deep love and confidence in myself.
I was freer and looked fabulous. My relationships got more authentic. I have a voice, I can be heard, I can handle any situation, I know what I want.
It took a lot of time and research and self experimentation to come to all of this. That is why I created jolie - so you wouldn't have to. I am here, jolie is here, to guide you in this path to total wellbeing, empowerment, and youthening. I want it to be easier, faster, and less confusing. So you can have everything you want.
Everything that worked and works is poured into jolie.
I want all people, particularly women, to confidently care for and love themselves. As a herbalist and women's life coach, I am awed by the body's ability to heal itself as well as the non medical causes of illness: stress, fatigue, pent up emotions, dissatisfaction with life. I equip you to use this to heal and youthen your body. As a life coach, I see the awesome gold mine that people have hidden inside them, I guide you toward it and breakdown internal and external blocks.
I work privately and in small groups to develop women and girls to fully possess their voice. I teach you about communication and energy dynamics so you have the skills to utilize your full range of expression with precision to get what you want out of life.
