Health has been my passion since I can remember. It infused and informed my love for cooking, gardening, teaching, and healing through nature and science.
I began cooking after living in Russia. Gardening when I lived in my first brownstone. And healing with food to cure my son's gut condition. It all became formalized as I went to the French Culinary Institute and the Stanford University School of Health. Although, I studied Russian & Soviet Studies at Harvard and then Columbia as a graduate student, it became clear once I began to have children that I wanted to devote myself to renewing and revitalizing the body. Food played such a big role for me in childbearing, weight loss, and finding true vitality. Through these areas of my life, my relationship with food and understanding of food was transformed. I believe whatever you learn, you have to pass on and to whom much is given, much is required. Jolie is the manifestation of a desire to help you heal yourself, to make it easy, to save you time, to give you a new normal - feeling fabulous, and to inspire and guide when you need it - to be a true partner in health. Welcome to jolie - the beautiful life! favoritesSong: I'm Not Afraid by Eminem
