Calming Leg Cramps and Restless Leg

As your pregnancy progresses, taking good care of your legs will make you more comfortable and better able to sleep.  Use the tips below to rest and renew your legs.
 
  1. Elevate your legs at least once a day preferably for 30 minutes.  If you cannot carve out 30 minutes, then take short breaks frequently throughout the day.
  2. Make sure you are getting enough magnesium.  If not, supplement.  Take the supplement in the evening as magnesium helps you sleep also.
  3. Exercise and stretch. 
  4. Try the supplement Natural Vitality Sleep - this has magnesium in it, so do not take magnesium supplements with it.
  5. Epsom salt bath
  6. Keep hydrated.
